In Vietnam, the tests follow TCVN 8560-2010 (for K2O) and TCVN 8561:2010 (for humic acid).
In China, the testing standard is GB/T 33804-2017.
Why does the combined content of humic acid and fulvic acid is more than 100%?
Humic acid and fulvic acid are usually measured by titration or colorimetric methods. These methods measure the “active content”, and sometimes there is overlap in the calculation.
For example, fulvic acid is actually part of humic acid, so if you simply add them together, the total can appear over 100%.
This does not mean there is a quality problem—it’s just due to the testing method and overlapping components.
